Terms and Conditions
As of May 2026
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the PartyJam.app web application. By registering or using the service you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
PartyJam.app allows organisers (admins) to create a collaborative music playlist for events. Guests can suggest songs and vote via a QR code. Playback is handled through the Spotify Web Playback API.
3. Requirements
- Admins require a Spotify Premium account and a PartyJam.app account. Music playback is not possible without Spotify Premium.
- Guests do not need an account or a Spotify subscription.
4. Subscription and Pricing
Use of PartyJam.app is subject to a subscription. Details of available plans, prices and payment terms are displayed before completing a subscription. Billing is handled via Stripe. The prices currently displayed on the website apply.
5. Term and Cancellation
Subscriptions can be taken out monthly or annually and renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the term.
Cancellation is possible at any time via the account settings and takes effect at the end of the paid period. After expiry the archive remains readable but new parties can no longer be created.
The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time without giving reasons, in particular for violations of these Terms, abusive use or legal requirements. In such cases the subscription will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, unless the suspension is due to misconduct by the user.
6. User Obligations
- You agree not to share any unlawful, offensive or copyright-infringing content via the service.
- Access credentials must be kept confidential and must not be shared with third parties.
- Abusive use (e.g. automated requests, manipulation of voting) is prohibited.
7. Availability
We strive for high availability of the service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance work is carried out outside peak hours where possible.
8. Liability
The operator's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Liability for the availability or content of Spotify services is excluded.
The operator accepts no responsibility for damages arising from abusive use by third parties.
9. Privacy
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms with reasonable notice. Registered users will be informed of material changes by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Applicable Law
The law of the operator's place of business applies. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's place of residence, to the extent permitted by law.
